The mainstream media is an enemy to America, complicit in undermining our republic. The mainstream media is all out theatrics at its best, acting as the regime’s network of puppets. They are engaged in systematically dismantling America one issue at a time. The mainstream media attacks opposition to government corruption, the independent media, honest candidates and history. The ideas of unbiased journalism and objective reporting have long since been abandoned by the mainstream media, who feed us a constant stream of disinformation that ignores what we need to know, and only highlights what they want us to believe. There are plenty of personalities in the independent media who express their diverse beliefs, but they are subject to censorship from internet gatekeepers like Google, Facebook and Twitter. The censorship shuts down opposing views to the state controlled media’s false narratives, allowing them to manipulate the minds of Americans. Journalists and reporters working for the mainstream all report what they are told, according to the memo or teleprompter, sometimes even word for word across each outlet.

The independent media is still a valid tool for information where journalists still ask questions and provide a different perspective on things. You should never believe any of the scripts from the sold-out mainstream – they have been ordered to forget their role as journalists.

As reported by The Telegraph, universities will be forced to pander to every single demand, no matter how inappropriate, ridiculous or stupid they may be, of “snowflake” student pansies if highly controversial changes to the country’s university ranking system are approved, education leaders say. Currently, the British government is facing a cross-party revolt in the House of Lords over a proposal to ‘reform’ higher education that include putting student satisfaction at the center of the new ranking system.

Any rational person can see where this will lead, say opponents: Unreasonable demands for more “safe spaces,” the outright banning of any speech that the snowflakes don’t like, the adoption of goofy new curriculum that will become mandatory for all students, and so on.

Opponents also believe that the new ranking system will create a “fantastically dangerous” culture, where school officials will be regularly forced to give in to all kinds of student demands, no matter how unreasonable.

The Telegraph reported further:

“Safe space” and “no platform” movements have swept across campuses including a campaign to ban Germaine Greer from giving a speech over her “offensive” comments.

Thanks to outsized influence on Western educational ‘standards’ by the loony political Left, this is what higher education is becoming: Catering to namby-pamby crybabies who have been systematically stripped of any and all normal coping mechanisms that come with something we call life.

“Universities are increasingly nervous about doing anything that will create overt dissatisfaction among students because they are being told that student satisfaction is key,” said Baroness Wolf, a King’s College London (KCL) professor. She added that such nervousness is dramatically affecting the “willingness” of university officials to push back against even the most ridiculous demands, “which in the past have been removing statues, safe spaces and no-platforming.”

The entire movement to change the ranking system is nothing short of “a direct threat” to university education and academic standards, as well as a school’s ability to “stand up for freedom of speech,” she said.

The new system is “fantastically dangerous” because the primary way to ‘satisfy’ a student is to not give them any serious work but still give them a high grade, which of course, teaches them nothing while preparing them for nothing in the real world.

“This will reduce standards and undermine quality,” Wolf continued. “I just think this is totally mad, and destructive of everything universities stand for.”

Wolf, Baroness Deech, a former senior proctor at Oxford, Prof. Julia Black, interim director at London School of Economics, and Gill Evans, a professor emeritus at Cambridge University, also spoke to The Telegraph of their concerns.

The ‘reforms’ are contained in the Higher Education and Research Bill, which is being supported by the Universities Minister Jo Johnson. It recently reached the House of Lords, where it was met with widespread criticism.

The proposed measure will essentially institutionalize mediocracy and under-achievement. Though not every student will want to be coddled and ‘protected’—many will actually want to earn a degree by learning something—far too many will be intentionally under-served and ill-prepared to handle the rigors of life, and all at their demand.

Evans, a professor of Medieval Theology, said the new criteria will also create an attitude among university chancellors of “bother the kids but we had better give in as we stand to suffer more for fighting it out,” she said.

The same craziness is spreading throughout American institutions of higher learning as well, as evidenced by a series of protests last year tied to racial issues, as well as the banning of any conservative opinion on campuses.

24-year-old Ross Lebeau of Texas didn’t even realize that he was in possession of the kitty litter, but it was later revealed that his father had placed it in his car to prevent the windows from fogging up — a “life hack” that has become quite popular on the internet. How the police were incompetent enough to mistake something as common as kitty litter with crystal meth is flabbergasting, but you also have to consider the fact that the officers in question were well aware that it wasn’t meth, but were merely trying to imprison an innocent man. Why this may sound like a stretch, this has become far too common in recent years.

In a statement released by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to ABC 13, “The drugs were recovered and in the process of inventorying his vehicle a substance was found wrapped in one sock in his vehicle. Mr. LeBeau was questioned about the contents at which time he indicated that he had no idea what it was. The deputies followed proper procedures and field tested the substance on two separate occasions which field tested positive for methamphetamines.” Nothing sounds fishy about that, does it? Yeah, about that…

It has become so obvious over the past decade — due heavily to the ability to record police misconduct — that these things happen far more often than most of us want to believe. It’s easier for us to think that the police officers patrolling our streets always have our best interests in mind and will always go above and beyond to protect us, but events like this continue to prove that it simply isn’t true. Of course there are plenty of good cops out there, but there are also those that believe in abusing their power.

It is time that we all — whether conservative or liberal — begin to demand more out of the police as a whole. They deserve to be held to higher standards and that’s we should intend to do.

Recently, a group of students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison set forth to destroy those on campus whose opinions differ from their own. Of course, the ones trying to silence the others are raging leftists — and their opponents are not the evil monsters they would lead you to believe. In fact, it’s just the university’s branch of Young Americans for Freedom — a reputable conservative organization that brings freedom-loving speakers to college campuses.

A petition entitled “Denounce Young Americans for Freedom and the alt-right” was created by a group known as the Student Coalition for Progress in hopes of getting the group kicked off of campus. It didn’t stop there, though, the writer of the petition also suggested that those involved with the group undergo intensive diversity training. No, this is not satire.

Tom Knighton of PJ Media reports that in response to the assault on free speech, Young Americans for Freedom stated, “The petition was launched about a month after YAF hosted conservative columnist Ben Shapiro on campus to speak about microaggressions, safe spaces and free speech. The petition decried Shapiro’s visit, claiming it made minority students feel unsafe, and accused Shapiro of denying ‘systematic and institutional violences’ against so-called marginalized communities.”

For some reason, there aren’t a whole lot of people talking about the shocking amount of people that are attacking free speech, especially on college campuses. Apparently, since this only affects those who are currently enrolled in college courses, people that should be discussing this are not. But now is the time to get serious. As they say, sunlight is the best disinfectant and the only way to stop events like this from happening time and time again is to expose these leftists for being the fascists-in-training that they are.

If there is any justice in the world, Young Americans for Freedom and other groups like them will remain on campuses and continue to spread the truth to those who need it most — millennials.

A cashless society is one of the final planks in the architecture of the scientific dictatorship. The claws and tentacles are still gripping their agenda, regardless of who the President of the United States is, albeit, President- elect Trump may be able to slow the process down a notch. The NWO would like nothing more than to employ robots and become eternal transhuman gods. They’ll  keep the masses sick and uneducated,  satiating them with tainted water, vaccines, GMOs and chemtrails. The newest generation has been raised on social media, clouds and thumbs. Many only know division and war, surveillance and common core. Most would love the idea of not using that “dirty cash.”  Besides, they are already trained to use the phone to buy and sell, making every transaction available to the NSA and the other NWO minions.

Knowing and controlling every single transaction requires they be digitized. Cash will eventually be outlawed. The road is paved for that conclusion. And it’s not just India that is “experimenting.”  In Sweden, “900 of 1600 banks no longer keep cash.” According to CNBC.com, Kenya has been using the M-Pesa, a mobile phone payment system since 2007. Out of population of 44 million, 19 million people depend on it. Venezuelan President Maduro also intends “to ban the 100 Bolivar note.” He says it will help him stop crime. Right.

According to Washingtonsblog.com, it was a USAID office, at the behest of President Barak Obama, that initiated the push on India to pull the rupees out of circulation.  The program is called “Catalyst: Inclusive Cashless Payment Partnership.” The director, Alok Gupta, is the same man who helped create India’s billion person biometric identification program.  The originators of the project believe Catalyst is a “sustainable and replicable model . . . ” And, of course, when globalist converge, Bill Gates can’t be too far behind. Just like vaccines, ole’ Bill thinks being cashless will improve people’s lives. Right.

That’s what Dave Hodges, creator and host of The Common Sense Show, believes and, what’s more, he says it’s just a prelude to mass murder, based on past historical events of a similar nature.

While the Internet has not been around in its present form for more than a couple decades, authoritarians and dictators throughout history have attempted to erase history that does not serve them well through mass book burnings, the destruction of founding documents and other records. What generally followed was mass murder.

Today, this is being accomplished either through Internet censorship or actual shutting down of the Internet by governments. As Hodges noted on his website, quoting a Brookings Institute study, “there were over 50 instances of Internet shutdown and many of the shutdowns were associated with government violence against the citizens of that country” in 2016.

In a revealing video, Hodges discusses the report, which noted first and foremost the economic impact of the shutdowns: $2.4 billion.

The shutdowns did not go unnoticed by the world’s foremost diplomatic entity, the United Nations. The UN Human Rights Council passed a non-binding resolution that condemned intentional shutting down or disruption of domestic Internet access by governments.

Though many member states supported the resolution, the governments of several nations including Saudi Arabia, Syria, India, Morocco, Brazil, Iraq, Pakistan, the Republic of Congo, Bangladesh, Algeria and Turkey shut down Internet or mobile service, often for long periods.

In his report for Brookings, Darrell M. West, vice president and director of the think tank’s Governance Studies, as well as founding director of the Center for Technology Innovation, said he found 81 short-term Internet shutdowns that took place in 19 countries between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016.

“The majority of these blackouts occurred in the Middle East and South Asia, with India, Iraq, non-ISIS Syria, and Pakistan accounting for 71 percent of recorded instance,” he wrote in a press release describing the study’s findings.

West noted that Internet disruptions and shutdowns curb economic growth, cost governments tax revenue, stifle innovation and undermine the confidence of businesses and consumers in the affected countries. “As Internet-powered businesses and transactions continue to grow, they represent an increasingly significant portion of the global economic activity,” he wrote, adding that if shutdowns persist, then damage from them will get more severe.

But as Hodges notes, there are human costs to shutdowns as well as economic costs. For example, when authoritarian governments want to limit their citizens’ ability to report abuses internationally, they often begin their repression by first shutting down the only way people can communicate to the global population, via social media and other methods. Then again, countries like North Korea and China regularly curb Internet access or limit/ban it altogether. What goes on inside North Korea is largely unknown to the outside world because its dictatorial leader, Kim Jong Un, locks down outside access so tightly, leaving him free to heap abuses on his people at will.

Hodges noted that the Brookings Institute study also found that the Internet shutdowns also went “hand in hand” with atrocities. In his study West noted that the UN Human Rights Commission’s resolution cited “promotion, protection, and enjoyment of human rights on the Internet” as its motivation for passage.

The UN panel also noted that failure to keep the Internet free of government control and accessible to the people was a violation of international human rights law.

Hodges, in his video, also said that such dangers are inherent even in the United States, where President-elect Donald J. Trump will have a difficult time getting full control of the Executive Branch’s vast bureaucracy.

“He’s facing endemic corruption that’s a hundred levels deep in these agencies, and under civil service law, he can’t get rid of everyone,” Hodges said.

Police, military veterans, the founding fathers, Christians and traditional American values like capitalism, individualism and freedom are regularly shunned and mocked, while non-traditional figures and principles – like communist revolutionary Che Guevara and socialism – are revered and held up as standards.

Guevara is an especially beloved figure by the American Left, as exemplified by NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick recently. The football player-turned-activist wore a T-shirt to a post-game interview depicting an early 1960s meeting between black American Leftist civil rights leader Malcolm X and Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

When asked about the shirt, Kaepernick intimated that it was part of his effort to make more people aware of what he says is inherent racism in American (Kaepernick is black; he was raised by white parents). But the goof is on him – as reported by The Daily Caller, the young footballer likely had no idea that Castro banned complaining about racism. And so the hypocrisy goes. The Left loves Guevara – Cuban Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, diplomat and military theorist – but most either have no idea what a brutal authoritarian he really was, or they do know, but simply don’t care.

As documented by the website, IHateTheMedia.com, there are several things Guevara is quoted as saying during his time on earth that the Left would rather you didn’t know. Here are just a few of them:

— “A revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate. We must create the pedagogy of the The Wall!” The Wall is a reference to the wall where Che’s enemies stood before his firing squads

— “To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary … These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution!”

— “In fact, if Christ himself stood in my way, I, like Nietzsche, would not hesitate to squish him like a worm.”

But the Leftists of today who support – or think they support – Guevara while claiming our forefathers were all bad because they were white and did not initially ban slavery, are themselves full of hypocrisy. In the 1960s, Left-wing “revolutionaries” were admonishing their followers and supporters to question authority, and “Down with the establishment!” Today, they instruct supporters to obey the government without question or be labeled racist, bigoted, homophobic, etc.

There’s a term for this kind of behavior: moral narcissism. A new book, I Know Best: How Moral Narcissism is Destroying Our Republic, If It Hasn’t Already, by Roger L. Simon, noted that few people will change their political views, “even in the face of literally earthshaking world events” like 9/11.

In his book, reviewed by The American Thinker, Simon explains his concept by using the Seinfeld character “Elaine,” played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In the comedy, Elaine is a woman who obtains her moral worth from opinions that line up with fashionable progressivism – that is to say, what the shallow, progressive Left-wing thought of the day is.

Elaine is all for environmentalism, hates people who wear fur, judges those who claim to be Christians, and so on. Meanwhile, her own personal life is promiscuous, self-centered, faithless and shallow, yet she convinces herself she’s a “good humanitarian” and “proves” it by purposely complimenting a waitress on “doing a great job.”

Other examples Simon provides are not fictional in nature, which is the center of the problem; the behavior has had disastrous, perhaps irrevocable effects on the country. They include: Fashionable anti-capitalist Marxism; racism nostalgia that stokes racial hatred by inventing micro-aggressions that allegedly “explain” and “excuse” black criminality (and racism); climate change ideologues who say the issue is “settled science” when it’s demonstrably a hoax; and so on.

Guevara encompasses all of these “principles,” if you want to call them that, and the belief that his, and not our founders’ visions of justice, equality and fairness are right is dooming America.

After the immediate backlash, however, the federal government has continued to spy on United States citizens. As bad as it has been, things have the potential to get even worse on that end, though. The NSA is currently pushing to destroy any semblance of email privacy within the United States. The organization hopes to completely change the U.S. Constitution – particularly the Fourth Amendment – in order to allow unreasonable searches and seizures of information stored in people’s emails.

Of course, there has been some serious outcry over such an attempt. Joseph Menn of Reuters reports, “Civil liberties groups and some other legal experts said the attempt to expand the ability of law enforcement agencies and intelligence services to sift through vast amounts of online data, in some cases without a court order, was in conflict with the Fourth Amendment because many innocent messages are included in the initial sweep.”

This is why the American people can no longer trust the federal government to have our best interests at heart. All they want is to help themselves and the massive corporations that pay them to make fascistic decisions. This is a dangerous situation. The Obama administration has been trying to slowly strip the rights of American citizens away, and this is just the latest example of that. Since the brainwashed masses refuse to acknowledge the truth of the situation, the federal government has gotten away with this; now is the point where we all have to demand that it be stopped.

The NSA and the federal government in general have been abusing their power for far too long. The people of this country need to be reminded that they are the ones who should be in charge of their own destinies. Big Brother’s control over us is finite as long as we continue to fight back against the establishment, the globalists and the feds.

There are many palms to grease down the line, from lobbyists to contractors to defense companies—and each time someone takes a piece of the pie, the weapon system they are hawking gets more expensive for the taxpayer.

One of the newest systems recently fielded is the USS Zumwalt, the Navy’s first stealth warship. The Zumwalt Class, however, is turning out to be the most expensive guided missile destroyer the U.S. has ever built. And it has suffered a number of breakdowns during sea trials, needing to be towed back to port.

As reported by EnGadget, the warship even uses expensive ammunition that the Navy cannot afford: At $800,000 a round, the so-called ‘smart ammo’ is a fiscal nightmare.

That said, there are, at least, some thinking people working on a bypass. Officials who spoke to USNI News say the Navy is now considering Raytheon’s Excalibur, which is a GPS-guided artillery round to use as a substitute for the LRLAP (Long Range Land Attack Projectile) shells that the ship’s main guns were designed to handle.

While Excalibur has about half the range of the LRLAP—about 30 miles—it also costs about one-quarter of what the longer range ammunition costs. Also, Excalibur can hit moving targets; the $800k LRLAP apparently could not.

But whether or not the Navy will decide on the Excalibur will depend largely on what it will cost to modify the Zumwalt Class guns to fire the cheaper shells. The ammunition-loading system and the gun’s barrels were designed to fire the LRLAP, and the Excalibur is not exactly plug-and-play technology. Retrofits are expected to cost in the neighborhood of $250 million, but that is believed to be far less than what it will cost to outfit the three Zumwalt-Class ships with a full complement of LRLAP’s (and spares).

One problem is that the Navy’s needs for the Zumwalt Class warships has greatly diminished. When they were being designed in the 1990s, military planners envisioned a much bigger fleet of them—32 warships in all. But since then, the number has fallen to just three, and even those were riddled with cost overruns. USNI News reported that, in the past five years alone, cost overruns for the ships have totaled more than $5 billion.

Hopefully, this will change under a Trump administration. After the president-elect complained publicly about the cost of a new Air Force One Boeing 747, the company ‘decided’ it could actually build two new planes for the original price of one.
